Sarah Bergert

I love sports, drawing, card games, and spending time with friends and family. I have two nieces (5+1) and one nephew (3). I am in college but still live at home with my parents and three of my five siblings.

When and how did you first get involved with Lighthouse Christian Camp?
I heard about it at a Bible study at my college.

Where are you originally from?
I was born in Alabama, but moved a few states while growing up.

What is your current involvement at Lighthouse?
Counselor

What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I have been to 27 states, lived in 3.

Who inspires you to be better?
My mom

How many siblings do you have and where do you fall in the order?
I am number four out of six children.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Uganda! A girl named Katie wrote a book on her experience serving and living there. That book and her testimony is what started a fire in me for missions.

What do you like most about Lighthouse?
I like that they are being faithful even without known resources to reach the unreached in our communities.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Subway and Taco Bell (for fast-food).

How have you been blessed by Lighthouse?
My faith and trust in God has already grown while praying and waiting for His responce to my application.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Never ask someone to do something you’re not willing to do yourself.

What three words or phrases come to mind when you think of Lighthouse?
Trust, reaching the unreached, and expect to see Him move.
