Pamela McMillan

I am a child of God, a work in progress. A wife in love with her husband. I am a core group leader in Community Bible Study in Cookeville TN. I grew up in the (old school traditional) Catholic church and was a regular attender, but I never read the bible until the age of 45 when I joined CBS. I love God’s word! I love to be active outdoors, hiking, kayaking, biking, camping, gardening.

When and how did you first get involved with Lighthouse Christian Camp?
Raejean Landis invited me to chaperone on the vans about 3? years ago.

Where are you originally from?
Canada But I am a proud American!

What is your current involvement at Lighthouse?
prayer, chaperone, kitchen – wherever you need me.

What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I have swam with sharks!

Who inspires you to be better?
Jesus

How many siblings do you have and where do you fall in the order?
Two brothers and two sisters, I am the 2nd oldest.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Israel, because I have never been and always wanted to see it.

What do you like most about Lighthouse?
It seems to be planned by God – the more I learn of how it works – the more amazed I am in the details.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Crawdaddy’s

How have you been blessed by Lighthouse?
God is opening up my heart, and filling it as I see how much love these children need.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Love one another as I have loved you!
