When and how did you first get involved with Lighthouse Christian Camp?
I got involved at Lighthouse in 2007 as as a 12 year old camper and haven’t looked back since!

Where are you originally from?
I am originally from Tipton Indiana, but I grew up in Livingston TN.

What is your current involvement at Lighthouse?
I am currently a volunteer and help out anywhere I can at retreats and summer camp.

What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
What could possibly be more interesting than a name like Lovie!! That’s as interesting as it gets!

Who inspires you to be better?
My best friend !!

How many siblings do you have and where do you fall in the order?
I have 4 older siblings!

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
BRO!! Hawaii would be SWEEET!!! It’s Hawaii why not???

What do you like most about Lighthouse?
I love that Lighthouse serves at risk youth and gives them a chance to be a kid, to have fun, and most importantly learn about Jesus. Lighthouse taught me how to have a relationship with Jesus; and it’s teaching so many other precious kids the same.

What is your favorite restaurant?
El Tap, any Mexican restaurant really !!

How have you been blessed by Lighthouse?
I have been blessed by Lighthouse in many ways, I was a camper and was taught how to love, serve and build a relationship with Jesus and in return grow up and do the same for many years as a counselor. There’s no greater blessing then seeing a kid ask Jesus into their heart.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
“If you are having a rough day, Place your hand over your heart. Feel that? It’s called purpose. You’re alive for a reason. Don’t give up.”

What three words or phrases come to mind when you think of Lighthouse?
Enthusiastic, love, and JOY
