My name is Katie Ervin, I belong to New Home Missionary Baptist Church here in Smithville, Tennessee. I coordinate mission activities in my church. We have a passion for helping people and spreading Gods word! For my career, I work as a cosmetologist in Mt. Juliet. I specialize in wedding updos and nails.
I enjoy crafting and baking on the weekends. Right now, I’m working on perfecting homemade pasta noodles and sourdough bread!

2019, our church helped clean cabins.

Italy, the food and simpler living.

The dedication the volunteers/workers have towards their ministry.
How did you come to know Jesus?
When I was around 18, I realized I was a sinner, in need of a savior. That’s when I truly experienced the goodness of God moving through me.
How have you been blessed by Lighthouse?
Seeing everyone’s dedication to the ministry and spreading the gospel!
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Give your heart to God and He will show you through difficult times.
