I live in Gordonsville, TN, and am a member of FBC Gordonsville. My husband Shane and I have been married since 1993. We have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I have been teaching in Smith County for over 20 years.
When and how did you first get involved with Lighthouse Christian Camp?
Holly James asked me if I would help transport kids to camp.

What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I like to be outside. Sometimes I will turn the TV off and go outside so that members of my family will come outside and enjoy each others company.
What inspires you to be better?
Talking to children.
How many siblings do you have and where do you fall in the order?
Middle of 3.
What do you like most about Lighthouse?
Their faithfulness to trust in the Lord and follow His path and they counsel with children through God’s word.
What is your favorite restaurant?
O’Charley’s
How have you been blessed by Lighthouse?
Talking with the college counselors and seeing how they serve. The kids look up to other counselors.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Live it up with the Bible.
