I was born and raised in Germantown, IL and Peoria IL. I was born again in 1988 and married Steve Killion in 2000. I worked at a preschool for 12 years and did in home care for elderly for 12 years. I drove as a semi team driver with Steve for over a year!
When and how did you first get involved with Lighthouse Christian Camp?
This is my first time here at Lighthouse Christian Camp. I signed up for an April 2023 SOWER project
Where are you originally from?
Peoria IL, I lived there for 24 years, sold our home in Aug. 2021. We bought a truck and camper to do SOWER projects starting in Jan. 2022
What is your current involvement at Lighthouse?
SOWER volunteer
What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I drove as a team driver with my husband for over a year with USA Express Trucking

The Holy Spirit
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Israel – to see where Jesus walked
What do you like most about Lighthouse?
The ministries to widows and orphans (foster children)
How have you been blessed by Lighthouse?
I love the fact that there are dogs here and we are invited to the staff devotions

Knowing where I could find peace
